BODY LANGUAGE IN A RELATIONSHIP

Gestures in relationship can reveal a lot about the personality of the partner; for example when in a relationship there is eye contact the partner feels very comfortable.
While if in a relationship there are no contacts and interests, it means that there is something going wrong.
Other gestures really important in relationship are kisses and holding hands, which means that the partner is really attracted by the other and that they really care about them.

SAPPHO

Sappho was an ancient Greek famale poet born in 620B.C. in Mytilene, on the island of Lesbos.
We don't know a lot about Sappho's life, but we know something thanks to a greek document called the "Marmor Parium" and thanks to the "Suda" a byzantine encyclopedia.
Historians are sure that she was temporaly exiled in Sicily with her aristocracy family because of the political troubles on the island of Lesbos and that she died in 580B.C. in Greece.
Sappho is sometimes referred to as a lesbian, but the word lesbian is actually derived from her place of birth.
However, there is no hard evidence about her sexuality, because in her poems she makes references to a variety of persons, and historians aren't sure to take the poems as autobiographical or not.
Her poetry deal with themes of love and passion, and has a clarity and simplicity of language.
The style is often conversational and her poem were written in Aeolic Greek dialect, that was very rare.
The poems were also sung to music, meaning they needed to be lyrical in form.
Feagment 31 is one of Sappho's most famous works and talks about the feelings of a woman for a man

"That man seems to me to be equal to the gods
who is sitting opposite you
and hears you nearby
speaking sweetly

and laughing delightfully, which indeed
makes my heart flutter in my breast;
for when I look at you even for a short time,
it is no longer possible for me to speak

but it is as if my tongue is broken
and immediately a subtle fire has run over my skin,
I cannot see anything with my eyes,
and my ears are buzzing

a cold sweat comes over me, trembling
seizes me all over, I am paler
than grass, and I seem nearly
to have died."

HeForShe

"HeForShe" is a solidarity movement founded by UN Women and it's also one of Emma Watson's biggest projects.
She represents the campaign as she is one of the ambassador of the UN Women, that is a solidarity movement of gender equality, that wants men and boys to come together to help end inequalities toward women and girls.
In her speech in a special event in New York for the "HeForShe" campaign she said:" We are struggling for a uniting word but the good news is we have a uniting movement. It is called HeForShe.
I am inviting you to step forward, to be seen to speak up, to be the "he" for "she".
And to ask yourself if not me, who? If not now, when? ".

DESCRIPTION OF A PICTURE

                                                      Description of a picture

This is a coloured photo and it shows the landscape of Paris.
In the background you can see the Tower Eiffel and at the bottom there are trees; in the foreground you can see the branches of a tree, and at the bottom there is the Seine.
I like a lot this picture because the atmosphere is paceful and also because Paris is one of my favorite city.
